Herbs for Depression and Anxiety

A friend of mine recently told me that they were diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, Suicidal thoughts, and a few others. This is not the first friend I've had who has come to me with this, either - by far! It's such an important issue that touches so many lives that I wanted to drop a line or two about how herbs can help people who find themselves in this situation. Depression can completely overwhelm you and take over your life, and you can find yourself thinking there's just no way out. Please, please, please: Never take your own life! All that ever does is spread the misery to the ones left behind who love you. There are treatments and methods to overcome this disorder. The first thing you need to know: You are NOT alone! Reach out to the ones closest to you for help. It's not weakness to ask for help; it's strength! It's bravery. That first step is the hardest one. Just trust and leap!

Of the many herbs which are effective against depression and anxiety, St. John's Wort is a stand out. There have been numerous studies which have demonstrated its efficaciousness for mild to moderate depression over the years. Mild to moderate. If you suffer from more severe symptoms of depression, though, don't despair! From an Herbalist's perspective, we know that herbs are more effective when used over a longer period of time. What may not work immediately can prove effective a few weeks down the road. The key is to trust the process and stay consistent. Don't skip any doses, and keep the product in your system.

For most folks suffering from depression and anxiety, it is found that talking therapy (or psychoanalysis) helps get to the route of the issue that's causing the depression or anxiety and deal with the emotional baggage that comes along with it. Soon enough they find relief and some equilibrium and can get back to a normal life.

No product is a silver bullet against all depression and anxiety. Not all therapies or products are good for all people. There are many options that need to be custom tailored to each person's needs, and this often requires a medical or herbal practitioner with clinical experience. If you or someone you know suffers the often devastating symptoms of depression/anxiety, please seek professional assistance. Take it seriously, talk it out, formulate a plan of treatment, and get or give assistance. It's tough to go it alone!

Eshdet Herbs has a formula for mild to moderate depression and anxiety for those who know that it's what they want to try. It's called Mood-Ease I'm real big on self-medication and self-reliance. I don't practice clinical herbalism or give medical advice, as I'm not licensed to do so. But if you feel like the product I have made will help your situation, feel free to drop by the online store and get a bottle or two. Can't hurt to try it!
