Reishi Double Extraction

Reishi Double Extraction has a long history of use in TCM as an Immune System Booster. This powerful mushroom grows all over the world. It has very hard chitinous membranes which make getting at the medicinal properties impossible using standard extraction methods. It must be put through a double extraction in order to release its medicinal goodness, but it is so worth it! One extraction is done with high gravity alcohol (bourbon in our case) for 8 weeks, and the other is done with a slow simmer in water (we use pure spring water at Eshdet Herbs) of what is left behind after the alcohol tincture is done. These two extractions are combined to create the double extraction.

Reishi has demonstrated immunomodulatory and antitumor effects in a few studies. It is used to treat a wide variety of conditions, including fatigue, high cholesterol, AIDS, hypertension, inflammation, and viral infections. It has been subjected to many scientific studies which have also demonstrated its ability to affect apoptosis (cancer cell death) in breast cancer patients and other cancer sufferers. In other words, it has been shown to kill cancer!

"Reishi mushroom is used to treat hypertension, viral infections, inflammation, and liver disorders, to lower high cholesterol, and for immunostimulation in patients with cancer and ADDS." If herbs like Echinacea help to boost the immune system, Reishi is like a super boost! If you're feeling sick, take a big dose of Reishi Double X. Take a smaller dose daily for a regular regimen to stay healthy. Master Herbalist, John Hance, takes it daily. So should you!
